Farmers State Bank Donates to Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry from Jean-erosity Program

Farmers State Bank announced a new program that was adopted in the second quarter of 2017. The program, called Blue Button Jean-erosity, allows employees to wear blue jeans on specific days for a small monetary donation. The money collected is then donated to support local organizations within the communities the Bank serves.

Farmers State Bank announced that the first Blue Button Jean-erosity donation for 2018 was made to Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry. Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry is an organization that believes in making a positive impact on the quality of life for all Hoosiers by providing nutritious meat to hunger relief agencies within Indiana.

“At Farmers State Bank, we are focused on supporting the organizations in our communities that make a real difference. We are thankful that our donation to Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry will benefit the hunger relief agencies within the communities that we serve. This Blue Button Jean-erosity donation and future donations from the program are made possible by the generosity of our employees”, stated Joe Urbanski, President and CEO of Farmers State Bank.
