Debra Treesh, has been building extensive nonprofit experience since 2005. She previously worked for a national nonprofit and the chapter that she ran became the fastest growing chapter in the United States. Debra started Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry in 2011 and she is using her knowledge to grow this organization. She served on the Community Harvest Food Bank Board of Directors as Secretary from 2009. She is committed to make sure that all families who struggle to make ends meet still have the opportunity to eat nutritious food to have healthy lives.

Storm joined our organization in August 2021. She was born in Elkhart, IN, but grew up most of her life in Auburn, IN. She graduated from Dekalb High School, and graduated from Ivy Tech with a Hospitality in Pastry Degree. She was a Program Assistant at GKB Head Start with some college in Early Childhood Education. She has been married to her husband Jon for 4 years. She is a social butterfly, and family oriented. She enjoys helping her community, music, art, and being proactive in everyday life.

Administrative Assistant

Rita Long joined the Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry team in 2021 as the Administrative Assistant. She has an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management. Rita is passionate about using her 20 years of business experience to implement improved methods and organization in the office. Wife of 32 years to Tony Long who loves volunteering, they have 5 beautiful daughters, 3 son-in-laws and 4 grandchildren. She enjoys being a bit of a computer geek, loves God, time with family and art.

Katie joined our organization in March 2022 . She graduated from Dekalb High School in 2009 and went on to attend Indiana University Purdue University of Fort Wayne. She enjoys using her acquired writing skills and communication skills to aid in the fight against food insecurity throughout her home state of Indiana. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and hiking and playing board games with her husband and daughter.
