The $2,000 in funds provided by the church will pay to process about 1,700 pounds of donated large game and livestock – providing 7,000 more meals through area hunger-relief agencies to residents in need within the community.
Kenny Dewig Meat Processing has been working for Vanderburgh County AND does all the processing at a reduced rate so that funds like this go so much further. This partnership led to the donation and processing of 6,000 pounds over the last year. This nutritious protein was given to and distributed by Zion Lippe Partners in Food Program – providing 22,600 more meals to Vanderburgh County families in need!
