Healthcare Foundation of La Porte has awarded a grant totaling $10,000 to Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry to pay processing fees on livestock donated to agencies serving food-insecure residents in La Porte County.
Over 8,600 pounds of meat will be delivered to La Porte County food banks at the request of the Healthcare Foundation of La Porte.
