Kroger Co. Foundation grants $10,000 to “Meat” the Need

The grant provided by the Kroger Co. Foundation will pay to process about 8,200 pounds of donated large game and livestock – providing almost 33,000 more meals through area hunger-relief agencies to residents in need within Allen & DeKalb County communities. There are 9 meat processors who work hard within these 2 counties AND do all the processing at a reduced rate so that this program is able to make grants like this go so much further.
