Rockville, Indiana – Parke County Community Foundation has awarded $1,500 to Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry’s “Meat” the Need Initiative to help ensure hunger relief agencies serving food-insecure residents in Parke County continue to have access to nutritious meat.
Funds provided by Parke County Community Foundation will cover the processing cost of approximately 1,200 pounds of donated livestock and deer – providing over 4,800 more meals through local hunger relief agencies.
