Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Continues Fighting Hoosier Food Insecurity

Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation recently donated $5,000 to Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry to aid in hunger relief efforts. The funds provided will allow Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry to pay for the processing of approximately 4,000 pounds of donated large game – providing 16,000 more meals through local hunger relief agencies.
“RMEF is pleased to again support this worthy program,” said Rob Ruth, RMEF regional director. “Hunting not only provides nutritious, organic and healthy protein but it funds important conservation work from coast to coast.” Indiana is home to 3,500 Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation members and nine chapters.
