The $1,000 in funds provided by the Trust will pay to process about 860 pounds of donated large game and livestock – providing over 3,400 more meals through area hunger-relief agencies to residents in need within their community. “Martin’s Custom Butchering, J&J Meats LLC, Royal Center Locker, and D & D Meat Processing have worked hard for Fulton County AND did all the processing at a reduced rate so that we are able to make funds like this go so much further. This partnership led to the donation and processing of 4,500 pounds over the last year. This nutritious protein was given to and distributed by Matthew’s Market, Akron Church of God, Grace United Methodist Church – providing almost 18,000 more meals to Fulton County families in need!” shared Amber Zecca, Fund Development Director of Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry.
