The Brave Heart Foundation recently awarded Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry $5,000 to be used to serve Indiana residents. The $5,000 in funds provided by the Foundation will pay to process about 4,300 pounds of donated large game and livestock – providing over 17,000 more meals through area hunger-relief agencies to residents in need within our communities. “Over the course of the last ten years, this program has received over 1.4 million pounds of meat donations – providing almost 5.9 million more meals statewide. This is made possible through loyal donors like The Brave Heart Foundation!” shared Amber Zecca, Fund Development Director of Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry.
