Noble REMC continues 10-year partnership fighting food insecurity

Noble REMC Operation Round Up Trust Fund recently awarded a grant totaling $1,000 to Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry to aid in paying processing fees on livestock donated to aid agencies serving food-insecure residents in Noble County.

We are so thankful to have donors like the Noble REMC, who is committed to helping us meet our community’s needs right now. They have partnered with us to fight food insecurity for 10 years now.” said Debra Treesh, Executive Director of Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry.

“The funds provided will pay to process about 1,550 pounds of donated livestock – providing over 6,200 more meals through area hunger-relief agencies. A meal provided to a person in need means reduced hunger and increased disposable income. Right now, this is so important.” shared Amber Zecca, Fund Development Director of Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry.
